Rebecca Romer Wyss, age 65, beloved wife, mother and grandmother, passed away suddenly on Saturday, November 1, 2014. Rebecca was born on October 3, 1949 in Louisville, KY, daughter of the late Norvin and Susan Romer. After thirty years of faithful service including twenty years at Cameron Middle School, Rebecca retired from Metro Nashville Public Schools, where she lovingly taught music. She was also a proud past member of the Nashville Symphony where she played 2nd violin. She is preceded in death by her step-mother, Thelma Romer. Survivors include her husband of 33 years, Michael Wyss; son, Alan Wyss (Kristine); grandson, Tyler Wyss; brother, Chris Romer (Pam); several nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at eleven-thirty in the morning on Thursday, November 6, 2014 at Woodlawn Roesch-Patton Funeral Home. Entombment will follow in Woodlawn's Cross Mausoleum. Visitation will be held from four o'clock in the afternoon until seven on Wednesday, November 5, 2014 and for one hour prior to service time at Woodlawn Roesch-Patton Funeral Home.
