Rebecca Maxwell Stiles

Becky was born on September 12, 1934 in Dickson, TN, the daughter of Vernon and Doris Story. She married Thomas Maxwell, and they spent 32 years together prior to his passing. She later married Lynn Stiles, and they spent 5 years together, and he precedes her in death.

Also preceding her in death are two of her children, Kathy Maxwell McCord and Kerry Maxwell.

Surviving is her son, Marc (Kim) Maxwell; grandchildren, Erin McCord Ezzell, Rachel (David) McCord Ellestad, Daniel (Coty) Maxwell, Colby (Sarah) Maxwell, and Addison Maxwell; brother, Tony Story; and several great grandchildren.

Becky was a graduate of Bellevue High School, and she worked as a dental secretary.

A great love for the Lord, Becky carried her faith proudly. She loved to travel and share stories of her favorite memories. She truly adored her family and she placed a huge value on upholding family traditions. She enjoyed baking, reading and knitting.

One of Becky’s favorite scriptures was John 8:12, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.” Becky was truly a light in the lives of many. She had a fun and loving personality, and she loved to do things for other people.

Becky was dearly loved, and she will be greatly missed.

A private service will be held, and burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Park, Nashville, TN.
