Reba Lois (Reed) Snoddy

She was born in Smith County, Tennessee on February 28th, 1935 to the late Veltra and Mattie Reed. Reba graduated from Hume-Fogg High School. She married James Roger Snoddy on May 14th, 1954 in Nashville, Tennessee. They shared 66 years of marriage together before his passing in 2020.

Reba worked at Trevecca Health Care and Imperial Manor as an Administrative Assistant for approximately 20 years and prior to that worked at Crab Orchard School as a Teachers Aid. She was a member of First Baptist Church of LaVergne. She had a passion for her family, friends, cooking, cards and games, reading, crocheting, camping, fishing, church and Jesus!

She was survived by her children, Cindy Hammitt; Mark Snoddy (Darlene); Jeff Snoddy (Beth); Lisa Davis; Becky Muniz (Phillip); and Jon Snoddy; grand children, Misty Ellison; Taylor Hammitt; Tyler Hammitt; Ryan Hammitt; Andrea Hammitt; Sheila Thatcher (Chuck); Steve Swafford; Michelle Atchley (Mark); Jeremy Boone; Jake Davis; Jordan Muniz; Victoria Muniz; and Jennings Muniz; great-grandchildren, Jorden Sparks; Isaiah Ellison; Troy Dearmon; Sierra Boggess (Nick); Leona Dearmon; Kyle Swafford; Eric Swafford; Allison Mangrum (Zac); Haley Atchley; Nevaeh Boone; great-great-grandchildren, Cameron; Emma; Little Adam Boggess; Merritt Mangrum; Alex Mangrum; Matthias Swafford; as well as, numerous beloved cousins; nieces and nephews.

Her grandchild, Adam Dearmon and siblings, Mildred Reed; Leah Jean Reed and Erma Dell Forkum also precede her in death.

A gathering of family and friends for Reba will be held Thursday, February 15th, 2024 from 11:00am to 1:00pm at Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home & Memorial Park, 660 Thompson Ln, Nashville, TN 37204. A celebration of life service will follow beginning at 1:00pm. A graveside service will conclude services at Woodlawn Memorial Park.
