Preceded in death by wife Norma Jean Sabel Cohen, daughter-in-law Judy Cohen, parents Sydney and Birdie Cohen and brother J.D. Cohen.
Survived by sons Gilbert S. Cohen and Andy H. (Leiann) Cohen, grandchildren Ashley (Milburn) Fender, Cari Cohen, Kristi Cohen and Andrew Cohen, great grandchildren Alexa and Levi Fender, and brother Larry (Yetta) Cohen.
Born in Nashville on May 30, 1929, he attended Hillsboro High School and served in the U.S. Navy. After returning from the service, he worked in the family furniture store, H. Cohen Furniture, started by Henry Cohen in 1892 in downtown Nashville.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am, Thursday, June 18, 2015 at the Temple, 5015 Harding Pike, with visitation from 10:00 until service time.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Ralph’s honor may be made to Gentiva Hospice or a charity of your choice.
