Anyone that knew Phil knows that he loved all things softball! He was a spectator, coach and umpire for over 25 years and devoted endless time and effort to the sport. He coached the Father Ryan Softball team from 2003-2010 with a state championship in 2006. All of the girls that knew him and played under his guidance loved him dearly. He cared deeply for each and every girl he supported.
Phil loved to travel and spent continuous weeks traveling the world with his wife, Karen, the true love of his life. He was there for anything and everything his daughters pursued. He stood by them with the utmost support and was the best father for whom his daughters could have dreamed. He spent every moment possible with his four grandchildren and they looked up to their “Colonel” with complete adoration.
