Pauline Dozier of Franklin, TN passed away July 24, 2015 at the age of 85. She was preceded in death by her husband, Major Thomas A. Dozier Sr. She is survived by their three children: Jan (Randy) Ray of Tallahassee, FL, Tom (Rita) Dozier and Steve (Lisa) Dozier of Nashville; eight grandchildren and four great grandchildren: Nathan Ray (Bradford and Harper Ray), Matthew Ray, Paul and Lindsey Ray (Emersyn Ray) , Anna Lea and Wes Cothron (Ann Douglas Cothron), Catherine Dozier, Olivia Dozier (fiancé, Josh Busing), Madeline Dozier and Phoebe Dozier. In addition to being a devoted wife and a caring mother, Pauline was a member of Oak Valley Baptist Church in Franklin. After completing Draughon’s Business School, she used her business skills in the family textile business and as Assistant Director of the daycare at Eastland Baptist Church. Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 26 at Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home, 660 Thompson Lane in Nashville from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM A Celebration of Life service will be on Monday, July 27 at 10:00 AM. in the Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Chapel. Visitation will be one hour before the service. Pallbearers will be Nathan, Matthew and Paul Ray, Wes Cothron, Josh Busing and Jamie Barnes. Honorary pallbearers will be the Officers of the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department. The family expresses our love and appreciation to Mrs. Teresa Suedekum with Nurturing Services and Alive Hospice.
