Paula Arlene Sain

Paula was born on September 24, 1948, to the late Paul Edward Passer and Louisa LaVern (Stansbery) Passer of Fort Madison, Iowa. Shortly after Paula graduated from Fort Madison High School in 1966, she moved to Memphis, Tenn., where she met and married Travis O’Neil Sain Jr. In 1986, they welcomed their daughter Lisa.

Paula was a hard worker and loyal friend. In recent years, she enjoyed seeing new faces and catching up with old friends as they came through the Cracker Barrel Old Country Store in Lakeland, Tenn.

Paula was preceded in death by her husband Travis O’Neil Sain Jr., father Paul Edward Passer, mother Louisa LaVern (Stansbery) Passer and brother Randall Passer. She is survived by her daughter Lisa Inman (Zachary) and three grandsons Travis Inman, Henry Inman and Cooper Inman, whom she loved so dearly. She is also survived by her sister Tricha Thomas (Greg), brothers Rick Passer (Dot) and Robert Passer (Jackie), sisters-in-law Chris Ping and Marsha Babb, and brothers-in-law Gene Sain and Wayne Thomas.

A memorial service will be held at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens on March 9, 2024, at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Tennessee Kids Belong.
