I was surprised to hear about the passing of Diane. She will be missed by so many.....

I was shocked and saddened to hear of Diane's passing.  I was one of her fellow "swimmers" at the YMCA and we always had a nice chat on those days.  I will remember her smile and warm heart and always be thankful that we became friends.   We will miss you.

I am so thankful for how Pat invested her teaching expertise into mine.  I always learned more and more about being a great teacher by watching her, imitating her, and receiving her care for me.  I admire her determination and drive for making a difference.  I will eternally be thankful for knowing Pat for the her last ten years and for the past ten years of mine.

Pat,
I wish you were here so that when I say "Remember when...," I could actually see your smile and hear your laugh.  Our friendship has been over 20 years and I will miss you very much.  You'll forever be on my mind and in my heart. You were a gift to my life.  Love you always.

Dear Pat,
I miss you so much and so do all of the children in the class.  We all had a very special year together---truly remarkable in so many ways.  We learned, loved, and laughed each day. You taught the students a life lesson that will never be found in a book:  unconditional love, dedication, commitment, spirit, perseverance, volunteerism, and friendship.  You modeled by example your amazing Christian spirit. I know you are rejoicing in Heaven and that softens the pain of losing a dear friend. Love you always.

Diane was a wonderful christian lady and I'm so glad I was one of the lucky ones that knew her.  I will always remember her beautiful smile and kind heart.

Diane, my friend, it is hard to say good-bye after 35 years of fun, laughter, cards, smiles, food, encouragement, support, and friendship. I miss you already! I hope you and Regina are celebrating that you made it home! Love ya girlfriend!

Beautifully written!  This totally described Diane to a tee.  She was an awesome friend and will be greatly missed.  Heaven became sweeter Tuesday afternoon.  I will most remember her for her sweet spirit and beautiful smjile.

As Diane shared the Light of God with those around her, I have lighted this candle in her memory.

Diane was a wonderful friend, full of God's spirit and His love. She shared that with everyone she came in contact with. We will miss her presence with us, but rejoice that she is with the Lord now, and I know Regina was waiting right next to Him to welcome her home.

Pat had compassion for others and stood for her Christian principals.
Gone--yes, but never forgotten.  She lives on in the lives of everyone she touched, in the lives of the hundreds of children she taught.

Pat gave countless volunteer hours to A. Z. Kelley Elementary.  Her attendance and work ethic were what we all aspire to match!  She reminded me daily of what is good in this world.  She was kind to children, put everyone's needs ahead of her own, and exemplified what it means to be a child of God.  I am so thankful to have known Pat and I will forever remember what it truly means to serve others by her example.

Saying good-bye to Diane is very difficult for our family.  I have many fond memories of celebrating holidays and family time with Diane.  She was a devoted friend and always wore a smile.  We will miss her so much; but we are comforted that she has gone home.
