Patricia Waldrum Anderson 83 of Nashville passed away on Friday August 3, 2018. She was born on March 29, 1935 in Nashville. She was the daughter of Jonas Edward Waldrum and Mildred McDaniel Cooper. She began her education at Stokes Elementary School and David Lipscomb High School in Nashville. She also attended Pine Manor College, LSU and David Lipscomb University. She was active in many organizations including the Belle Meade Country Club, the Centennial Club, the Colonial Dames of America and the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) and was a member of the Fannie Battle Day Home, Travelers Rest, The Hermitage and Cheekwood. Patricia sought a spiritual journey of recovery and was respected and loved by her fellow members. She was also a member of St. Henry’s Catholic Church where she looked forward to attending mass and hearing Fr. Beckman’s sermons. She had an adventurous, fearless spirit, loved to travel and loved learning new things. She enjoyed tennis and golf. In her later years she enjoyed playing bridge. She was an avid reader and loved the beauty of God’s creation especially flowers, trees and nature. But most of all she loved her husband and family.
The family would like to acknowledge the people who helped them through the years, Marlene Gevena, Martha Lugo and Tony Hammond.
She is lovingly survived by her husband of 61 years Lyttleton C. Anderson Jr., her daughter and son-in-law Leona (Noni) and William (Bill) O. Butler, grandson William (Will) Lyttleton (Kristen) Butler, great grandsons William Lyttleton Butler Jr., Beau Joseph Butler and Smith Anderson Butler.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Henry’s Catholic Church on Thursday August 9th at 11:00 AM with the family receiving friends one hour prior to mass.
