She was a lifelong Nashville resident. After graduating from Central High, she worked at BellSouth in the Data Center for 31 years. She was a lifetime member of the Tennessee Chapter of the Telephone Pioneers of America.
Norma enjoyed singing, bowling, golfing, and traveling. Her collection of magnets, trophies, and photographs reflects these interests. She was a charter member of Crievewood Methodist Church.
She is preceded in death by her parents Kenneth Albert and Frances Lucile Foster and a lifelong friend.
She is survived by her brother, Tom Foster (Connie); nephew, Michael Thomas Foster (Sarah); niece, Kinley and nephew, Ayden.
A service of celebration will be held Saturday, March 18 at Crievewood United Methodist Church, 451 Hogan Rd, Nashville, TN 37220, at 10:00 am, with visitation at 9:00 am. Burial will be private at Woodlawn Funeral Home. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to The United Methodist Committee on Relief (UMCOR.org).
