Mr. Nathan J. Ashley age 36, of Nashville, Tennessee, passed away Wednesday, January31, 2018. Nathan was born May 24, 1981, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, to Larry and Debbie Ashley. He was a graduate of Glencoe High School in Glencoe, Alabama. Nathan was a great, fun loving guy with an infectious smile. He enjoyed Star Wars, Comic Books, and Video games. Nathan was also a tanented artist who loved to draw. He was diagnosed with ALS in 2013. Nathan was a hard worker who enjoyed working for U. S. Smokeless Tobacco until his health forced him to retire.
In addition to his parents Nathan is survived by his devoted and loving wife Kathleen. Fur baby guard dog Buster Kenobi. Sister Elizabeth Ashley (Terry Sanders). Brothers; Chris Robertson (Michelle) and Jason Robertson. Maternal Grandmother Wynn Hill. Paternal Grandmother Viola Kirkland. Mother and Father-in-law Rita and Fred Scheidweiler. Sister-in-laws; Alena (Bryan) Pursell, and Emily (Jason) Pratt. Nieces and nephews; Hannah and Anna Robertson, Ryan and Seth Robertson, William Pursell, and Maxon Pratt.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday, February 3, 2018 at Three o’clock in the afternoon Crypt side at the Historic Mount Olivet Cemetery with Pastor Matt Ballard officiating.
The family will receive friends Saturday, February 3, 2018, from 0ne o’clock in the afternoon until two thirty at the Historic Mount Olivet Funeral home & Cemetery.
