Nancy Strasser Forshee

Mrs. Nancy Strasser Forshee, age 80, of Brentwood, TN, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Thursday, October 7, 2022. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of over 50 years, Robert Joseph Forshee.

Mrs. Forshee was born in Nashville, TN on November 1, 1941, the daughter of the late Joseph Henry Strasser II and Evelyn Greer Strasser. After graduating from David Lipscomb College, she taught second grade in Nashville for several years. Mrs. Forshee was a long-time member of Tusculum Church of Christ and a more recent member of Harpeth Hills Church of Christ. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, watching birds, going on long neighborhood walks, singing hymns, and following college football—especially Auburn and UT.

Survivors include a daughter, Sharon (Bruce) Haukohl; two sons, David (Sarah) Forshee and Mark Forshee; grandchildren, Michael Forshee, Lucas Forshee, William Haukohl, Robert Haukohl, and Charlotte Haukohl; and a niece, Cindy Forshee Young.

A Celebration of Life will be held privately.

Gathering of Family and Friends will be held Saturday, October 22, 2022, from one o’clock until three o’clock at Woodlawn Roesch-Patton Funeral Home.
