Nancy Lee Crane, age 84, born in Nashville, Tennessee on October 1, 1935 to Sherman and Frankie Estelle Anderson passed away on September 19, 2020. Nancy is also preceded in death by her husband, Alan Crane; and siblings, Bernice Hibbitt, Dorothy Mize, Sherma Hester, and Francis Harris. She is survived by daughter, Pamela Johnson Meadows; son, Audie Stephen Johnson II; brother, Sherman Anderson; grandchildren, Jason Stilts, Kaylee Johnson, and Alli Johnson; one great-granddaughter; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Nancy attended Antioch High School where she was crowned Homecoming queen and was also a cheerleader. She had a passion for traveling, mainly through Europe. Nancy was dearly loved and will be missed by all who knew her.
Jason Stilts, Frankie Mize, Randy Mize, Neil Anderson, Todd Harris, Terry Hibbitt, and Wayne Hester will serve as pallbearers. Sherman Anderson will serve as an honorary pallbearer.
A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held on Thursday, September 24, 2020 from four o’clock to eight o’clock at Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Friday, September 25, 2020 at eleven o’clock with a one hour gathering prior to the service at Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home. Interment will take place in Woodlawn Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Breast Cancer Research.
