Michael Scott Hampton, age 42, entered into his eternal rest on Dec. 31, 2020 with his beloved parents by his side in their home in Hermitage, TN. Scott was born and raised in Nashville with his early years growing up in Antioch but with most of his life in Hermitage. He graduated from McGavock High School and was a very proud member of their marching band. Scott was a member of New Hope Baptist Church. He is survived by his parents, Lee and Donna Hampton; brother, Timothy (Wendy); niece, Autumn; nephews, Jesse and Trey; many aunts, uncles, cousins and special friends. He was predeceased by his grandparents, Floyd and Irene Hampton; grandmother, Ruby Burkhalter Salmon. There will be many loved ones to meet him in Heaven. Scott left a true legacy of unconditional love and will be remembered for his deep devotion to his family and friends.
