He is survived by his mother Laura Van Sickle, his father Dave Van Sickle, and his siblings Simone (Bardwell) Van Sickle, and Gerielle (Van Sickle) Bogus.
A graduate of Hillsboro High School and The Blackbird Academy, Max’s love of music & the arts was a passionate touchstone throughout his life. He was funny and smart and kind and compassionate. At his core Max was the essence of a renaissance man, who could easily discuss philosophy, economics, history, sports & literature.
Max will be deeply missed by his family and friends, and the countless people he touched in his short but meaningful life.
