Maxine Wilkerson Winn

Age 94, born May 27, 1920 in Lenoir City, TN. Formerly employed as a secretary by the Tennessee Valley Authority in Morristown, TN and also by the Tennessee Eastman Corporation in Oak Ridge, TN during WWII. Long-time member of Granny White Church of Christ. Preceded in death by husband William Buford Winn, by parents John and Anna Wilkerson of Lenoir City, TN, and by sisters Mildred Keener of Knoxville, TN and Mabel May of Nashville, TN. Survived by sister June Baxter of Madisonville, TN, son Robert D. Winn of Nashville, daughter Patricia Winn (Rick Sr.) Williams of Cullman, AL, four grandchildren; Rick (Christy) Williams Jr. and Winn (Kristie) Williams of Cullman, AL, Julie Winn (John) McCoy of Hendersonville, TN, and Amy Winn (Chris) Taylor of Fredericksburg, VA, seven great-grandchildren; Lily and Clayton Marlin, Hope, Nathan, and Abby Taylor, Chloe and Aeris Williams, as well as several nieces and nephews. Family and friends will gather for visitation on Monday, October 20, 2014 from one to two in the afternoon in Woodlawn’s South Mausoleum with funeral service to follow immediately. The family requests you consider making a donation to the Alzheimer’s Association or your favorite charity in lieu of flowers.
