Mary E. "Libby" Woods, age 84, of Nashville, Tennessee passed away on Thursday, May 2, 2024. She is preceded in death by her husband, Paul E. Woods, brothers, David Woodall and Bliss Woodall. She is survived by her sons, Bliss (Lucy) Woods and Trent (Ann) Woods, grandchildren, Lorne Woods and Seth Woods, step-granddaughters, Rachael Stolt, Hannah Aldridge, step-grandson Matt Stolt, step-great-grandchildren, Jackson Hillin, Lillian Stolt and Harrison Stolt.
She was a graduate of Central High School and David Lipscomb College in Nashville. She was a music and voice teacher for 40+ years. She was a member of Lebanon Road Church of Christ for 50+ years and was the Sunday School teacher for 40 of those years. She was a homemaker who loved cooking for her family and friends. She was breast cancer survivor for 40 years.
Visitation with the family will be on Monday May 6, 2024 from 4-8 PM and on Tuesday from 11-12 PM at Mt. Olivet Funeral Home. Funeral services will be on Tuesday at 12 PM at Mt. Olivet Funeral Home. Committal service will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park.
