(Mai-Mai) born in Nashville on April 9, 1928. Mary passed away on June 16, 2023. She is preceded in death by her husband, Roy Jacob Williams, Sr., mother, Nellie Clare Williams, and sister, Eva Clare Williams. Mary was a lifetime resident of Nashville. She is survived by her son, Roy Jacob Williams, Jr. (Jay) and his wife Lisa; a daughter, Elizabeth Williams Cantrell (Libba) and husband, Charlton; four grandchildren, Chrissa Cantrell Parks (Matt), Carlie Elizabeth Cantrell, Bradley Jacob Williams (Nicole), Caroline Williams Sgro (Alec), and five great grandchildren. Mrs. Williams was a graduate of Hillsboro High School 1946 and Vanderbilt University 1950, where she was a member of Gamma Phi Beta Sorority.

A visitation for Mary will be held Wednesday, June 21, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home & Memorial Park, 660 Thompson Ln, Nashville, TN 37204, followed by a graveside service from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM.
