Mary was better known as "Tebe" but she loved her initials, "MGM". She graduated from Hume-Fogg in 1951. While she attended school there, she was the President of her homeroom, part of the choir, member of the T&I club, and was on the basketball team. Her mother and other family were charter members of Donelson Presbyterian Church and where she is still an active member. After high school, Mary worked at Southern Bell for many years. She married her beloved husband, Bradford E. Mee, on December 28, 1957. Together they shared three beautiful children. In 1973, Mary began working at the Veterans' Administration and remained there until her retirement in 2000.
Mary is preceded in death by her parents, Andrew "Andy" and Edna Greer; husband, Bradford Mee; sons Daniel Mee and Brady Mee; and a brother, Jack Greer. Mary is survived by her daughter, Dani Mee; granddaughter, Megan Mee; great granddaughter, Maddie Mee; sister, Helen Greer Harper; sister-in-law, Kathy Greer; as well as many nieces and nephews, several great nieces and nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews.
There will be a time of visitation on Friday, March 3, 2023 at the Hibbett & Hailey Funeral Home, 429 Donelson Pike, Nashville, TN from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM. There will also be a time of visitation at Donelson Presbyterian Church, 2305 Lebanon Pike, Nashville, on Saturday, March 4, 2023 from 9:00 AM until time of service at 10:00AM. Following the service, Mary will be laid to rest at Mount Olivet Cemetery, 1101 Lebanon Pike, Nashville. Active pallbearers will be Mary's nephews: Andrew "Andy" Harper, James "Jay" Harper, Jonathan Harper, Arville "A.J." Noe, Clinton "C.J." Noe, and nephew-in-law, Jerry Hewitt. Honorary pallbearers are Therakun Sao, David Eddy, Gabriel Jarman, Jacob Harper, Jeremy Hewitt, Wesley Jarman, and Lucian Botte.
