Known to her closest friends as "Princess," Margaret graduated with a bachelor's degree from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville. She enjoyed a successful career at several companies, including Martha White Foods and Peterbilt Manufacturing. Prior to the pandemic, Margaret enjoyed working as a waitress at the local American Legion Post 88, where she made many friends. She was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed studying her Bible.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Mildred Elsea of Chattanooga, father, Calvin Brown, and loving husband, Rickey Graham of Old Hickory.
Margaret leaves behind a legacy of love and friendship. She is survived by her biological son Patrick Graham McBride (Taffi) of Chattanooga, her aunt Betty Niemsky of Lorain, Ohio, and a close circle of friends, including Jane Thomas, Mike Jennings, Gwen Brown, Mary Missman, and Marcy Robinson. The depth of these relationships is a testament to the love and care Margaret shared with those around her, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
As per Margaret's wishes, a serene and simple graveside service will be held at the Middle Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery. This peaceful setting will be the final resting place for Margaret, where she will be laid to rest alongside her beloved husband, Rickey.
Margaret's graveside service will be Thursday May 30, 2024 at 10 am. Middle Tennessee Veterans Cemetery 7931 McCrory Lane, Nashville, TN 37221.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, which Margaret supported monthly.
