Mary Elizabeth Hiller Hickman passed away December 6, 2019 after suffering with Parkinson’s Disease these past 8 years. Mary Elizabeth was born January 28, 1943 in Louisville Kentucky. Moved to Nashville at an early age and attended Catholic schools, graduating high school from St. Bernard. Academy. Continued her education at Middle Tennessee majoring in Social work. Later earned Master’s degrees from MTSU in Psychology and from the University of Tennessee in Clinical Social Work.
Mary Elizabeth worked for the State of Tennessee and Luton Mental Health before going into private practice, retiring in 2008.
Mary Elizabeth was preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Regina Hiller and her brother Daniel Hiller. She is survived by her Husband Bob of 52 years, daughters Tiffany Hickman and Ashley Lowdermilk, three Grandchildren, Noah and Jacob Lowdermilk and Emme Hickman, and her older brother Richard Hiller.
Visitation will be held Wednesday December 11 5:00-7:00 PM at the Marshall Donnelly Funeral Home. Grave side service will be at 10:30 AM at Harpeth Hills Memorial Gardens on Highway 100 S.
