Mary Frances Jakes Jackson

Mary Frances Jakes Jackson. May 16, 1918-December 30, 2016. Mrs. Jackson was 98 years of age. Preceded in death by her parents: Jessie Fuller Jakes & Glen J. Jakes. Siblings: Eloise Simms, Doris Clark, Glen J. Jakes, Jr., Harvell Jakes, and Wayne Jakes. Grandson: Neal Hamner.

Survived by daughters: Kaye Talley (Ray) and Becky Trotter (Roy). Grandchildren: Robert Allen, Cliff Allen & Annette May. Great Grandchildren: Caleb Allen, Corey Allen, and Wyatt May. Sister: Ann Hunter (Emmis). Mrs. Jackson was a avid tennis player and fan capturing the championship City title and also a big fan of the University of Tennessee. She worked for Blevins Popcorn Co. until she retired.

Visitation is on Tuesday from 11:00 to 1:00 p.m. at Mt. Olivet Funeral Home, 1101 Lebanon Road, Nashville with a graveside service to follow. Pallbearers are: Cliff Allen, Caleb Allen, Jake Hunter, Roy Trotter, Ray Hunter and Oliver Talley.
