This is hard because you have seen over the years her dedication to seeing things finished. The earlier years should’ve been tiring and the latter years easy, but she didn’t complain. She always made you feel welcomed. Always loved the visits because they were filled with laughs. Will miss her laugh,opinion and her lack of tiredness. Always left with my belly full of good cooking. Thanks for the memories and passing on the art of cooking to your children. Hug the family for us.

I am who I am because of the woman that raised me, and she was the amazing, strong woman she was because of you. You were a great example of a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. I am so thankful that my daughters were able to get to know you. I will always remember your tenacious spirit, your wonderful laugh and you love most of all.  We will carry on your legacy with pride. I love you so much and I am so blessed that God gave me you to be my grandmother. I will miss you.

I loved the family get togethers. Best memory was the food. This lady  could cook. My favorite was her peach cobbler.

One story I have is a funny  story when we all were pulling each other up on the barn and Mary came home from picking blueberries. She was boiling mad. Love her will really miss her. ❤

I will miss you more than words can express and love you more than words can say.

  Mama I will miss you with all my heart. I have so many memories of this amazing woman. She was often called a firecracker, she spoke of whatever was on her mind (good or bad)lol. She would say well it is the truth.  I remember growing up she would make our Easter dresses. They would be the same dress but different colors. We loved getting them every year.  Sunday Dinners for the family. Never had to be invited you was always welcome, she always had plenty. You know daddy had to lower the cabinets just so that is could reach them, she would have to stand in a chair to get anything out. I remember all the lake trips to go boating and fishing. A lot of the time it was just fishing. We would catch them and then throw them back. 
 If there was a baby around mom would have them in her arms, she loved kids. I remember her always having flower beds. She loved she flowers.  Mom loved Christmas, it was always big. At mom's house there was lots and lots of decorations. This year she decorated her house and said she was leaving it decorated all year. "Christmas all year!" She did amazing job on it. I remember when she moved to Alabama, I would go to work and when I got home I would call her and tell her I was getting in the hot tub, she would say on my way. I called her my hot tub bubby. I could go on and on there are so so  so many. But I'm glad she was my mom and I will miss her dearly. She told me often that she was ready to go when ever the lord was ready, that she lived a wonderful and full life.  With a heavy heart I will say welcome home mom and I love you and You will be missed!!!!!!!!


Aunt Mary is in so many of my childhood memories. She was a bright, vibrant soul and will be greatly missed. This particular photo was at the conclusion of my wedding ceremony on June 26, 2010. 

Miss Mary was a very kind, loving woman. She always made me smile and so understanding when I talked with her. You know Miss Mary gave me the name bouncer which I loved very much and Sonny hated lol. I loved the relationship her and Mr. Gene had so in love and so caring for each other. The stories of Tunica and her life. What an amazing woman. Learned so much from her she holds a very special place in my heart. I still have her last voice mail and the last text I sent her. I listen to that voicemail and cry and then smile. God has a very special angel now.  Love you and miss you sweet lady.  Bouncer

As we go in life we meet people that leave forever loving memories, and Ms. Mary was one of those. You can tell that she invested a lot of her heartwarming love in her children and grandchildren and great grandchildren. Her eyes would light up with joy for the family gatherings. My memory of Ms. Mary is when she Thanked me, with tears in her eyes, for coming into her daughter’s life. Ms. Mary your heartwarming love and joy of family investment will forever live on through your Children, Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren. 

Every minute spent with my sweet granny was a true blessing. I loved to hear your laugh. I loved to see you smile. I loved hearing your jokes. I smile every time I think about the things that came out of your mouth sometimes. Goodness you didn’t have a filter sometimes. I know that’s where I get it from. I always called you pretty lady. The name fits you so well. You’re the most beautiful person inside and out. You cared so much for your family and friends. You also wasn’t afraid to tell us when we was doing wrong. Granny I will never stop thinking about you. I will never forget the sound of your voice. I will never forget the relationship I was so blessed to share with you. I will always and forever love and miss you. I can’t wait for the day we get to hug again. Gosh I miss you pretty lady! 

There are so many wonderful memories in my heart of my mom.  My mom lived a wonderful life that was shared with her family and many friends.  Her loving heart and touch will be greatly missed.  She knew just what to say and do to make you smile.  Always able to make us all laugh.  I will always remember her and my dad dancing in the house when we were young.  They would glide across the floor and even as a child I thought that was amazing.  I will remember the plain bologna sandwiches she would fix us on our trips to Alabama.  That was such a treat for us (still love them).  I remember her taking us to the creek to swim where she would flip over rocks to show us how to catch crawfish without getting pinched.   I remember her gathering up snow and making us snow cream (no yellow snow of course).  I remember her stopping at a natural stream close to where we lived to get ice cold water.   I remember her childhood stories that she told.  They were such good stories.  I remember her in so many ways and it is the simple things that stand out the most and make my heart smile.  I will remember every thing and will keep this amazing woman in my heart forever.

This picture of mom is on her 80th birthday. We gave her a birthday party and all gifts was given was money, all so that she could go to Hawaii. She did!!! If you know mom, she always said she was going to Hawaii one day. Oh! And win a million dollars. We made one come true. 


I cant believe this day has come, time to lay my dear grandmother to rest. My grandmother was the most strong, loving, caring , and independent woman I have ever had the chance to know. I will never forget our time and memories we shared. Our time together will always be cherished.  You can go be reunited with Papa, Aunt Debbie, and Uncle Sonny. I will forever miss and love you until we meet again in heaven. Your loving granddaughter Ashley Wolfe.
