Martin Edward Patton

Martin Edward Patton (TEN), age 84 of Nashville, TN passed away March 9, 2016. He was preceded in death by his parents, Martin Luther & Effie Mai (Reed) Patton; siblings, Katherine Henley, Marie Wallace, Ernest Patton, Robert Patton, Charles Patton, Johnny Patton and Luther Patton.

He is survived by close family members, nephews, Charles Adams and Mercer Adams; niece, Darlene Lyle; host of nieces, nephews and several close friends.

Martin was a retired Veteran of the United States Army after serving 22 years with combat service in Korea and two tours in Vietnam. He then worked for several years as a Safety Supervisor for Gibbs Brother's Construction.

Funeral service will be 11:00 am Monday, March 14, 2016 at Hibbett & Hailey Funeral Home, 429 Donelson Pike, Nashville, TN. Interment with full military honors will follow at 1:00 pm at Middle Tennessee Veteran's Cemetery, 7931 McCrory Ln, Nashville, TN.

Visitation with the family will be from 4:00 pm till 8:00 pm Sunday, March 13, 2016 at the funeral home. A Masonic service will be conducted Sunday evening at 7:00 pm by Lodge #612.
