Graveside Service will be held on December 12, 2020 at 11:30 am at Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home & Memorial Park, 660 Thompson Ln, Nashville, TN.
Marla retired from Metro Nashville Public School Transportation after 29 years of driving a school bus. Upon retiring from MNPS, she worked another 20 years as a Motor Coach Driver for Grayline of Nashville.
Survived by her loving & devoted husband Tom Gentry; sons, Jack Burns (Mary), Wendell Burns (Jody), Rob Forrest (Penny), Ron Forrest & BJ Burns, daughter Debbie Burns (Brents); grandchildren, Mitchell Burns, Brittany Burns, Wendy Wedekind, Wesley Burns, Macy Amos and Trent Forrest; 7 great-grandchildren as well as several siblings and other relatives.
The family would like to extend gratitude to Amedisys Home Health/Hospice Care for their compassion and loving care.
