Nashville – Marjorie Hagel Gregory, 80, passed away on October 14, 2018 after a long, brave battle with cancer. She was born in Atlanta, GA to Marjorie and Theodore Norbert Hagel, and lived most of her adult life in Nashville. Marjorie was a graduate of The Westminster Schools of Atlanta, Sullins College, and received a BS/BA from Washington University in St. Louis, MO, where she was a member of Alpha Chi Omega sorority. She was a member of the Joseph Habersham Chapter of the DAR for more than 50 years, and a long-time member of the Colonna Club. She also served faithfully as Eucharist Minister at The Cathedral of the Incarnation in Nashville. She is survived by her husband, Dr. Marvin Gregory, and her three children, Diana Gregory Goldstein (Adam), Laura Gregory Warren (Leonard), and Michael Hagel Gregory (Stacey). Marjorie was devoted to her beloved grandchildren: William and Mary Margaret Warren (Nashville, TN), Parker and Carlin Gregory (Birmingham, AL), and Emma and Noah Goldstein (Winston-Salem, NC).
A funeral mass will be held at The Cathedral of the Incarnation at two o'clock on Thursday, October 18th. Family will receive visitors one hour prior to the service. Marjorie will be laid to rest at Calvary Cemetery (1001 Lebanon Place) immediately following the celebration her life.
