Margaret Anne Freeman, age 75, of Murfreesboro, Tennessee passed away on Sunday, October 1, 2023. Anne was born on July 13, 1948 in Enns, Austria. She graduated from David Lipscomb and received her Master’s Degree from Murray State.
Anne married the love of her life, James Don Freeman on December 26, 1969 at Harpeth Hills Church of Christ. They were happily married over 50 years.
Anne spent most of her career in the bible industry working for Gospel Advocate.
Anne is survived by her husband, Don; daughter, Gretchen (Chris) Bilbro; son, Adam (Leslie) Freeman; grandchildren, Asa Bilbro, Austin Bilbro, Serik Bilbro, Ella Freeman and Abby Freeman; brothers, Steve Reed and Dr. Floyd (Susie) Reed; nephew, Shannon Reed.
Pallbearers for Mrs. Anne Freeman include, Steve Reed, Dr. Floyd Reed, Adam Freeman, Shannon Reed, Serik Bilbro, Asa Bilbro, Austin Bilbro and Chris Bilbro.
Honorary Pallbearers are Larry Miller, Ed Hodges, Don Lee, Laura Wayman, Alice Burton, Carolyn Perry, Kay Lee, Paula Van Hooser, Laura Rudder, Jane Webb and all the Christian ladies that loved her.
A Gathering of Family and Friends for Anne will be held Thursday, October 5, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home & Memorial Park, 660 Thompson Ln, Nashville, TN 37204, followed by a celebration of life at1:00 PM. A graveside service will follow on Thursday at Woodlawn Memorial Park after the service in the funeral home.
