Margaret Faye Edwards “Faye”, 84 of Hermitage passed away Wednesday June 28, 2023. Faye was born July 2, 1938 in Columbia, Tennessee to John and Annie Barron. Following high school, Faye attended Middle Tennessee State University. In 1971 she married Carlos Eugene Edwards and they were married for 19 years until his passing. Faye was a Worthy Matron of the Buchanan Order of the Eastern Star and a lifelong member of the Baptist church. Faye enjoyed travels and her favorite trips were those to Europe.
She was preceded in death by her parents John Andrew and Annie Margaret Barron and her husband Carlos Eugene Edwards.
Faye is survived by her cousin William (Beverly) Barron and cousins first removed; Elizabeth Higdon and Leslie Robinson.
Visitation will be held Monday July 10, 2023 from 10:00 until time of service at 12:00 Noon at the Hibbett and Hailey Funeral Home 429 Donelson Pike, Nashville, Tn. Services at 12:00 Noon with Dr. Judson Hays Officiating. Interment will be in the Lone Oak Cemetery, Lewisburg, Tn.
