Mae Louise Woomer, age 88, passed away on Monday, July 13, 2020 in Nashville, TN. Mae was born in Cleveland, OH. Mrs. Woomer was preceded in death by her husband James E. Woomer; parents John J. and Catherine Miller; brother John J. Miller, Jr.; brother in law Richard Wicks and brother in law William D. Woomer. Mae is survived by son James D. Woomer (Mary Jane); sister Betty Miller Wicks of Pennsylvania; granddaughter Allison Woomer, sister in law Becky Simon Miller of Tennessee, sister in law Shirley Woomer of Illinois, and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. A Service to celebrate Mrs. Woomer will be held at Mount Olivet Funeral Home on the morning of Friday, July 17, 2020 at Eleven O’clock with visitation one hour prior to the start of the service. Mae was a member of the Donelson Heights United Methodist Church and she was active in the community, 2nd Harvest Food Bank and the Metro Nashville Beautification Commission. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Donelson Heights United Methodist Church.
