Lynn Vanice Spencer

Lifelong Tennessee resident Lynn Spencer, 72, of Nolensville Tn, completed her last earthly journey to meet her savior, on Sunday August 11, 2024.

A Celebration of life will be administered Sunday August 18, 2024 at Woodlawn funeral home , 660 Thompson Lane , Nashville Tn, 37204

Lynn was born in Nashville , April 24, 1952 , to Van and Marguerite Gray of Berry Hill Tn. Lynn graduated at John Overton High School before she received her Associate of Arts Nursing degree from the University of Tennessee. She worked as a Registered Nurse for over 30 years at Baptist Hospital and St. Thomas Midtown in Nashville Tn.

She was married to David M. Spencer on May 1, 1999 in Knoxville Tn. They recently celebrated 25 years of marriage where they reflected on love and their many blessings.

She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother with a passion of traveling, boating and gathering with her loved ones and friends. She enjoyed baking and preparing the most amazing meals while hosting her family.

She is survived by her husband, David Spencer; son, Brent Durham; daughter, Melanie Curry (Richard); bonus daughter, Amy Spencer; and grandchildren, Camden Cooper; Keelyn Hunt; Burkleigh Curry; Rylee Garcia; and Reese Garcia.
