Lynn Sanders Allen, 86 of Nashville, TN, passed away Saturday, May 24, 2014. Mrs. Allen was born on November 15, 1927 in Fayetteville, TN, daughter of the late Jessie Lee Sanders and Lucy Sue Curlee Sanders. Lynn is preceded in death by her husband, Harley James Sanders; sister, Rebecca Sanders Earls; brothers, Matt Woods “Bill” , James and Jess Sanders; several half-sisters. Survivors include her daughter, Melanie (Stan) Cail; sister-in-law, Barbara Allen; a host of nieces and nephews. The family would like to give special thanks to her caregivers who have become a part of their family, Vennie King, Joyce Garrison and Jennifer Casteel. A Gathering of friends will be held from four o’clock in the afternoon until eight, Tuesday, May 27, 2014. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions to be made to Alive Hospice of Nashville. Cryptside services will be held at eleven o’clock in the morning of Wednesday, May 28, 2014 from Woodlawn’s Cross Mausoleum.
