Lydia was born on July 24, 1929 in Ashland City, the daughter of James Newton and Lester Catherine Doris Binkley. She married Frank Thomas Moran, and he precedes her in death.
Also preceding her in death is her son, Thomas Michael “Mike” Moran; and her parents.
Surviving is a granddaughter, Rhonda (husband, Wayne) Moran Porter; great-grandchildren, Lexi Porter and DJ Porter; and special nephew, Stan Davis.
Lydia retired from Vanderbilt Medical Center where she worked for 37 years as a surgical scrub technician. She was a member of Charlotte Heights Church of Christ, and she loved to bake and cook. You could also find Lydia out gardening, practicing the art of photography, or feeding the birds. But, her favorite thing to do was to spend time with her grandchildren.
Lydia was dearly loved, and she will be greatly missed.
