Throughout her life, Cindy touched the lives of many people. She was valued, respected, endeared and cherished in both her professional and personal lives. Cindy was a loving and kindhearted woman with a strong sense of fairness and support felt by those that knew her best. Cindy and Dale Gwinn have shared their lives together for nearly 3 decades. Cindy and Dale’s love for each other was far-reaching and serves as an example for all. Soulmates is how Cindy described Dale and their union. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and enjoyed teaching them proper etiquette and practical values that she saw important.
Cindy was born on December 30, 1942 in Nashville, TN. She attended Woodmont Elementary School and Hillsboro High School, and graduated in 1960 and afterwards attended Peabody College. She was a stay at home mom for 25 years. She then worked for Coldwell-Banker Lakeside in Hendersonville, TN. for 20 years earning awards for her work ethic. She liked to read the newspaper to keep up on current events. She was happiest traveling with her husband, gardening and playing games with her grandkids.
Cindy is preceded in death by her father, Nevin C. Trammell, mother, Juanita Emmons and two sons Steven Trammell Garrett and Craig Robert Garrett. She is survived by her husband E. Dale Gwinn of Hendersonville, TN, son David B. Garrett, of Portland, TN daughter Holly (Jamie) McGahey of Gallatin, TN. brother Nevin C. Trammell, Jr, Hendersonville, TN, sister Terri Trammell Craft, of Nashville, TN She is also survived by her 7 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren
Graveside service will be at Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton funeral home on Thursday, October 1, 2020 at three o'clock in the afternoon.
