Linda Sue Knotts, age 66, of Nashville, Tennessee, passed away on Friday, August 18, 2023. She was born on December 23, 1956 in Nashville to Leona Thomas Knotts and Morris Cullum Knotts. Linda held a master’s degree in education from Trevecca Nazarene University and a bachelor’s degree from Middle Tennessee State University. She taught 30 years in the Metro Nashville Public School system, predominantly at Tusculum Elementary School. There she taught third grade; in later years she was the art teacher for the entire school.
Linda was a fun-loving person who enjoyed playing and watching sports and playing board games and cards. But her biggest passion in life was arts and crafts. She loved making things and learning new techniques. She also taught various craft classes over the years.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her sister Judy King (Gaylon).
Visitation for Linda will be held on Friday, August 25, 2023, from 10:00 AM to 12 PM at the Woodlawn-Roesch Patton Funeral Home & Memorial Park (660 Thompson Ln, Nashville, Tennessee. This will be followed by a lunch reception at the same place. A celebration of life will follow the reception at 1:00 PM in the same place, followed by a short burial service on the grounds.
