She was born on May 12, 1937 the younger of two daughters born to Ralph Sentney Lehman and Kate Jackson Carter in New Orleans, LA.
Linda married her high school sweetheart David Winfield Greene in 1954. They raised 3 wonderful children together, a daughter and two sons. They were married for 49 years upon his death in 2003.
Linda worked for Old Harding Road Pediatrics for 22 years until her retirement.
Linda was predeceased by her husband Dave, her son David and by her older sister, Betty Prichard.
She is survived by her daughter Katie Steele (Tom) and son Doug Greene (Sallie), her beloved grandchildren, John Steele (Monty), Paul Steele (Jenny), Kate Steele, Carter Greene (Mandy) and Charlie Greene (Megan) and her seven precious great grandchildren who brought her so much joy: Mimi, Sophie, Ella Grace, Elle, Helen, and Rye Steele and Summer Greene.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to a charity of your choice.
A private family memorial service is planned.
