Mrs. Lillian "Faye" Angel

In 1975 Faye moved with her family from Hendersonville, TN to Bogotá, Colombia her husbands country of origin. While living in Colombia, she taught English as a second language to elementary school grades, and she loved her students. She participated in many school activities and bazars, where she would make her brownies and other favorites cakes for the bake sales. She enjoyed mostly the wide variety of friuts, vegetables, flowers that were available year round along with different and vast cultural diversity the country had to offer. She learned how to dance Salsa and Cumbia, and was always up for a good time with family and friends, be at cook out or holiday gatherings.

After 24 years living in Colombia, and the loss of her husband, Faye returned to Nashville.

Faye is preceded in death by her husband Cristobal , her son's Paul , Joseph (Joey) Angel. Her father John R Gibson, mother Marie Gibson, brothers John Gibson, Lawrence Gibson and sister Jeannette (Michael) Hillman.

She is survived by her daughter Patricia A Angel; her Grand Daughter Pamela (Craig) Kessler; Great Grand Son's Jaxon and Dominic Kessler; Grand Son Nicolas Angel; Brother Donald D Gibson; Nephews Donald B and Derek Gibson; Niece Dawn Gibson (Jeffrey) Simmons; Great Nephew Jeffrey Simmons and Great Niece Jordyn Simmons.

A graveside service for Faye will be held Wednesday, August 16, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at Mt Olivet Cemetery, 1101 LEBANON PIKE, NASHVILLE, TN 37210.
