Leslie Kapros Rogers, 73, passed away on Wednesday, March 20, 2024, at Vanderbilt University Hospital in Nashville. She was born in New York City, a daughter of Charles and Joan Kapros. She was married to J. Michael Rogers for 31 years. Leslie earned a bachelor’s degree from Incarnate Word College in San Antonio, Texas, and worked for the Department of Veterans Affairs for almost 30 years, retiring in 2007. In retirement, she enjoyed traveling in Europe with her husband, and the couple eventually retired to Ajijic, Mexico.
She is survived by a daughter from her first marriage, Stephanie Rolewicz of Nashville; her husband Mike; two sisters, Laura Kierig and husband Paul of Tower Lakes, Illinois, and Cathy Danis and husband Wayne of Dunedin, Florida; and a nephew, David Kierig of California.
