Leslie Carr Gregory Jr, known as L.C. Born October 22, 1932 in Davidson County to Leslie and Mallie Gregory Preceded in death by his parents Leslie and Mallie Gregory. By his siblings Luther, Cecil, Katherine, Earline, and Geraldine and his son Stephen. He is survived by his wife Kathleen, his brother Buford, his children and their spouses Vicky Gregory, Wayne (and Leigh Anne) Gregory, Michael (and Rhonda) Gregory and Kathy (and Barry) Derryberry. L.C. served in the Air Force directly after high school and was a veteran of the Korean War. He then spent his work life as a route salesman with Colonial Bread, Frito-Lay and then self-employed in snack food sales. He was a member of the Holy Rosary Catholic Community. He was an avid sports enthusiast especially for Vanderbilt University’s baseball and football teams. He was notably proud of his 5 children, 12 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. He was always happiest when his grandchildren and great grandchildren visited.
His 12 grandchildren are: Justin (and Kat) Gregory, Jennifer (and Wayne) Gourley, Rachel (and Jon) Hunt, Bethany (and Dave Udesky) Gregory, Katie Gregory, Michelle Gregory, Amber (and Clay) Moore, Sarah (and Dan) Drake, Caleb Gregory, Dana (and Joe Frasier) Derryberry, Davy (and Casey) Gregory, Paige Derryberry.
His 7 great grandchildren are: Corbin Moore, Adrian Gregory, Riley Moore, Lucia Gregory, C.J. Moore, Daniel Gregory and Drew Gregory.
Pallbearers are: Wayne Gregory, Michael Gregory, Barry Derryberry, Justin Gregory, Caleb Gregory, Davy Gregory, Jon Hunt and Dan Drake.
Honorary pallbearers are: Todd Gregory, Greg Lindsay, Gary Thompson and Jeff Thompson

L.C.’s funeral mass will be Monday, January 24th at 11am. Visitation will begin at 10am. Both will be conducted at the Church of the Holy Rosary, 192 Graylynn Drive, Donelson, TN 37214. A burial service will process immediately afterwards to Woodlawn Cemetery on Thompson Lane.
