Lee....I called to say Merry Christmas and to tell you I remembered it was your Mom's birthday.
I am so sad ...you were always so sweet to me.


My heart is breaking, Lee you were the world to me like a uncle, father, grandfather most important you were the most loving greatest Godfather to me. You never forgot a birthday, Christmas family barbecue. My sister's And. I we spent many weekends at your house. You took us shopping, we watched scary movies ordered pizza. You always took us on the boat, jumping off the cliffs having the best times and building memories for a lifetime.  You would dance with us, talk forever on the phone. You were there. I love you so much and will always miss you. Everytime I'm fishing, hunting or on the water I think of how much you loved us. Rest in peace and know you were the greatest Godfather and the best influence in my life. I will love you forever. You bought me my first dog and I hope you are together in heaven now. Love Kimberly

I am happy for you as you have moved out of time and earthly trials into a glorious eternity of peace.  For 32 years I have known you and enjoyed your friendship. You gave me so much help when I started working with you. I always enjoyed your humor and our long phone calls these last few years since you semi-retired.
You will be missed but the memories remain.

Dear Grandpa Lee, 

When no other's would, you stepped up to the role of my grandpa. Every birthday, every Christmas... you were there. From taking me to build-a-bear in the mall when I was younger, to supplying me with everything I needed for school, you were always there. You were a father to my mom, and the best one at that. You were a light to your church, your friends, and me. I miss your phone calls about the beautiful weather and the bunnies in your backyard. I miss hearing you tell me what you had for breakfast, and your excitement about going on your boat. You taught me how to be brave, unique, and strong. Grandpa Lee, you are my hero. I will graduate collge for you. I will become successful in my career for you. I will continue to worship the Lord for you. I will make you proud. Our last time on the boat together we talked about going camping. Maybe one day we'll get to do that in heaven. I'll miss you every single day. My heart is broken without you. God only takes the best. I love you gramps.

I don't know where to begin with what you meant to Perry and I. You were his best friend and like a brother to me. You were the best friend anyone  could have asked for. You were my rock so many times during the years that Perry was sick.  And you were my strength the day we lost him. So, many memories of our times together.  I know you are at peace and have no pain and glad that your suffering was short. Until we meet again dear friend.  RIP Lee.  Give my Perry a big hug. 
 

Lee you were always so great. Loved the times you and Perry took me hunting.  You were the absolute best to Kimberly, Erika and Alexandria. They loved times on the lake, shopping and spending weekends at your house. Love you and will miss you tremendously till we meet in the woods again with Perry. Love you.

This hurts my heart so much . I will always remember the first time I ever went tubing I was only like 6 and you put on a life jacket and got out there with me while uncle Perry drove which now that I think about it we had just let a blind man drive us hahaha. You always were so kind and soft spoken literally the nicest man I ever knew I’m guna miss you lee you meant more to me and my sisters then you ever knew. Love you always -Alex give uncle Perry a hug for me I know he was waiting for you fishing pole in hand . 

I will always remember your love and care that you me had for my sisters and I. We always had the most fun with you and Uncle Perry whether it was rabbit hunting or fishing. I loved all our weekends we spent with you. You'd take us shopping, tubing, we'd play poker, and you let us pick the same movies every time we'd come over. We always had to get Drop Dead Fred and some kind of scary movie that you'd just laugh at the whole time. You were one of the best parts of my life and I'm going to miss how you always called us "little one." I hope you gave Uncle Perry a big hug when you saw him. Rest in peace until we meet again. Lee, you were a great man to  me and tiffany and  destanee thank u for always being their for us. We will always love u very much. 

I will never forget all of the sleepovers my papaw hosted for me and my friends ... I'll always remember 4wheeling fishing boating and tubing but most of all I'll never forget the way he loved my sister and me ... He would get us papa johns every Friday night and then hit up blockbuster ... Where for a year straight he rented the little mermaid for me and never complained .... I love you papaw !!!!
