Kimberly was born on May 2, 1961, the daughter of Bunyan and Peggye Owens Gibson. She married William “Billy” Roland, and he precedes her in death.
Also preceding her in death is her long-time significant other, Ray LeJeune; her father, Bunyan Gibson; brother, Clint Gibson; maternal grandparents, Aubrey Owens and Mary Reed Owens; and her paternal grandparents, John and Rosabel Gibson
Surviving is her daughter, Heather (spouse, Callie Sabens) Roland; son, Raymond LeJeune, Jr.; mother, Peggye Raney; sister, Dana (spouse, Greg Dennis) Dennis; granddaughter, Amelia Roland-Sabens; and many loving nieces and nephews.
Kimberly attended John Overton High School, Class of 1979, and she later worked and dedicated many years of service as a medical transcriptionist with MTSOA.
Loving, kind, and accepting are just a few words that best describe Kimberly. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother. She loved music, and especially loved Elton John. She could be found doing word searches, or chewing bubble gum. She was a true pet lover and she loved the color purple.
Kimberly will be truly missed, and forever loved by her family and friends.
A Gathering of Family and Friends will be from ten o’clock until twelve o’clock on Monday, February 1, 2021 in the Dogwood Suite at Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home, 660 Thompson Lane, Nashville, TN 37204. A Celebration of Life will follow at twelve o’clock in Woodlawn’s Dignity Hall. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Park.
