Kathleen Marie Frank

FRANK, Kathleen Marie (Donnelly) passed away peacefully on August 2, 2011, at Alive Hospice Residence, in Nashville, Tennessee. She was born in Grosse Pointe, Michigan, the first of six children to Harold B. Donnelly and Kathleen (McCarthy) Donnelly on November 29, 1923. After graduating from Mt. Clemons High School, Kathleen would eventually raise six children, who were her life and love, in Detroit, MI. During those years, Kathleen volunteered for her children’s countless school activities and she organized neighbor(s) to assist neighbors in need, as well. She then moved her family to St. Clair, MI where she graduated with honors in 1976, with an LPN Nursing Degree from St. Clair County Community College, Port Huron, MI. Kathleen was able to utilize her nursing skills at facilities in St. Clair, Port Huron, and Cape Coral, FL. Her passion with disabled children and working with the aging seniors will be remembered by her children, as well as those which benefited from her loving and her compassionate care. Kathleen was preceded in death by her son, Paul E. Frank, Jr. and younger brothers, James (Jim) Donnelly and Robert (Bob) Donnelly. She is survived by her children: Kathy Ingleson, Brentwood, TN, Sue (Dan) Oumedian, Jenison, MI, Chris (Jack Hicks) Brison, Brentwood, TN, Mary Jo (Larry/Mac) McDaid, Paw Paw, MI, and Carolyn Frank, Plymouth, MI; her brother, Harold (Patricia) Donnelly; her sisters, Dorothy (Ray) Neuman, and Janet (Jerry) Best; 12 grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren whom they lovingly called "Grammy"; as well as countless nieces and nephews (Aunt Katie). A memorial service will be held at a later date in Michigan. May God Bless this loving Mother and Sister and may she be an example for all who knew her!!!
