Katherine Heather Ray of Fairview, Tennessee, age 43, passed away on January 16, 2017. She was born in Ann Arbor, Michigan, on May 4, 1973. She is survived by her parents, Marianna Kennedy and James Ray, as well as her brothers, Justin, Alex and Nicholas. Katherine grew up in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She graduated from Florida State University in 1995 with a degree in Social Work. Having lived in Florida for several years, she moved to Nashville in 2005. In recent years she was employed by two health care organizations in Nashville, Da Vita and Aspire. Her passing has evoked an outpouring of grief, and love, from so many places around the United States as well as the Nashville area. A memorial service will be held at Woodlawn Roesch-Patton Funeral Home on Saturday, January 28, 2017, at four o’clock in the afternoon, with visitation following the service for an hour at the funeral home.
