June Brown Moore of Nashville, TN died on Thursday, January 25, 2018. Born of the late Lucile Orand Brown and Wallace Brown in Springfield, TN. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 55 years Charles Gray Moore and a sister Christine Brown.
Survived by a sister Jeanette Brown, daughter Marcia Moore Olewine and husband John, a son Alan Gray Moore and wife Diana, grandchildren Kimberly McQueen and husband Jason, Kelly Parlier and husband Christopher, Spencer Moore and great granddaughter, Rowan Parlier and several cousins.
June taught public school music in McMinnville City Schools for a few years and afterward devoted her time to family life, church activities, bridge and civic organizations.
Visitation is scheduled for Saturday, January 27 at 10 a.m. in the Cheek House, First Presbyterian Church, 4815 Franklin Pike, Nashville, TN 37220. Funeral service immediately following in the Stanford Chapel with Sandra Randleman officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Presbyterian Church or the Wounded Warrior Project.
