Mr. Julius “Paige” Baird age 78, of Smyrna, TN, passed away Monday, November 30, 2015. Mr. Baird was born in Nashville, TN on March 4, 1937, the son of the late Julius Lester Baird and Lella Page Baird. He retired from the United States Air Force as Chief Master Sergeant and awarded the Airman of the year in 1975. Mr. Baird was a member of Stewart Creek Church of Christ. Survivors include his wife, Nell Rose Baird, to whom he was married on June 9, 1957; a son, Lester Baird; a daughter, Neta Baird; and two grandchildren, Sam Jones and Courtney Lynn Baird. A Celebration of Life will be held Friday, December 4, 2015, at eleven thirty in the morning, Woodlawn’s Dignity Hall. Interment will follow in the Woodlawn Memorial Park with full military honors. Gathering of Family & Friends will be held Thursday from two o’clock until six o’clock in the evening at Woodlawn Roesch-Patton-Funeral Home.
