Julia Thomas Bush

Mrs. Julia Thomas Bush, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, January 15, 2016. Mrs. Bush was born in Nashville, TN, on September 26, 1934, the daughter of the late Sol Andrew Thomas and Ruby Gregory Thomas. She was a member of Haywood Hills Baptist Church for over forty years. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Bush was preceded in death by her husband of sixty-two years, Albert Lee Bush. Survivors include her children, Diane Bush, Kenneth (Kay) Bush, David (Joan) Bush and her many family members and friends. A Celebration of Life Service will be on Monday, January 25, 2016, at eleven thirty, Woodlawn’s Dignity Hall with Rev. Kenneth Bush officiating. Inurnment immediately following the service in Woodlawn Memorial Park. Gathering of Family and Friends will be held from ten o’clock until the service time on Monday, January 25, 2016, at Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers the family respectfully request memorial contributions be made to The Gideons International 50 Century Blvd, Nashville, TN 37214, Avalon Hospice 2525 Perimeter Place Drive Unit 121, Nashville, TN 37214-3674, or to a charity of your choice.
