Judith Denelda Jones, age 80 of Nashville departed this life on July 12, 2021. She was born in Nashville, Tennessee on April 28, 1941 to the late, Allen Payne and Lillian Clarice Baggett Smith. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her siblings, A.P. Smith, Jr.; Lowell Smith, Joyce McDole, Martha Varela and Elizabeth Woodward.
She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Wilburn B. Jones, Sr of Nashville; sons, Wilburn "Wil" B. Jones, Jr. of Hendersonville, Tim (LaDonna) Jones of Ridgetop and Tommy (Crystal) Jones of Nashville; grandchildren, Blake Jones, Tiffani Jones, Amber Jones, Analynn Jones, Allen Jones, Tommy Jones and Ella Jones; one great-grand child, Piper and a host of nieces and nephews.
Judith was a native Nashvillian, she was a graduate of Hume-Fogg High School. She worked as a Business Clerk at the Nashville Memorial Hospital and later Tristar Medical Group, a division of Health Corporation of America. She was a long time member of Jackson Park Church of Christ.
A Gathering of family and friends will be held from four until seven in the evening on Saturday, July 17, 2021 at Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at two o'clock in the afternoon on Sunday, July 18, 2021 in Dignity Hall of Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home with Interment to Follow in Woodlawn Memorial Park.
