Joyce Elizabeth (Norton) Watson, of Franklin Tennessee, age 90 passed away on Thursday, February 8th, 2024 surrounded by family. She was born in Wanette, Oklahoma, on April 30th, 1933. She was married to Dale Watson for 50 years. They shared a career in the Sonic Drive In business. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She had a passion for family history, painting, and her family.
Joyce was survived by her children, Valarie McHenry (Gene); Kenneth O'Dell; David Watson (Annita); Edda Watson; Grandchildren, Shawna; Sherry; Chris; Brian; Lauren; Chris; Joe; Taylor; Daniel; Nicole; Michael; Brennan; Danielle; Terry; Samantha; Shay; Ashley; Jackie Dale; and 25 Great-Grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dale Watson; and her sons, Lanny Steele; Terry Watson; and Sam O'Dell.
A Visitation will be held from 1:00pm until 2:45pm at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints 1100 Gray Fox Lane., Franklin, Tennessee 37069. Family prayer will take place at 2:45pm. The Funeral Service will follow at 3:00pm. A private burial will take place at Woodlawn Memorial Park.
