John Quinlan, age 69, died Saturday July 16, 2016 at Centennial Hospital in Nashville. He was born on September 16, 1946 in Yonkers, NY to Edward and Mary (Purcell) Quinlan and was the fifth of six children. He served two tours with the US Army in Vietnam receiving several service medals. He retired from Metro Water Services as a lead mechanic for 20 years. He had a love for camping and old time country music. He was survived by his three children, Frank "Dee" (Ginger) Quinlan, Johnny Quinlan, Mary (Mike) Poland; his four grandsons, Corey (Sherri) Quinlan, Aidan Quinlan, Gavin and Devin Poland; and his great grandson, Sid Quinlan.
