Mr. Lovelace was born in Nashville, TN, on August 24, 1925, the son of the late Lobin Lovelace and Evelyn Everett Lovelace. He served in the United States Marine Corps during World War II and the Korean War. Mr. Lovelace owned and operated Lovelace & Associates. He was a member of Forrest Hills Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, Mr. Lovelace was preceded in death by his first wife, Elsie Duer Lovelace.
Survivors include his wife, Jean Lovelace; three daughters, Pamela Duer Gautier, Camilla Lovelace Kryder (Bruce), and Christie D’Anne Seals (Allen); a son, John E. Lovelace, Jr. (Paula); nine grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
A Celebration of Life will be held Thursday, August 24, 2017, at eleven o’clock, Forrest Hills Baptist Church with Pastor Sam Boyd officiating. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park.
Gathering of Family & Friends will be held Wednesday from four o’clock until seven o’clock at Woodlawn Roesch-Patton Funeral Home and Thursday from nine o’clock until the funeral hour at the church.
In lieu of flowers the family respectfully requests memorial contributions be made to Lighthouse Christian Camp, 205 Serenity Place, Smithville, TN 37166.
