John Walter Jordan Nashville, TN Age 94, passed away on February 1, 2016. Survived by his wife of 67 years, Emily W. Jordan; two children, Mary Ellen Tate and John C. Jordan (Barbara); four grandchildren, Joshua Tate, Jennifer Jordan, Cam Jordan (Rosalind), and Andrew Walter Jordan; and ten great-grandchildren. He was a member of Bellevue Church of Christ and a former deacon of West End Church of Christ. He was a Navy veteran of World War II and retired after 40+ years of service with Avco Aerostructures. Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 4, 2016 at Woodlawn Roesch-Patton Funeral Home from eleven to one o’clock in the afternoon followed by the funeral service at one o’clock. Walt Leaver to officiate. Interment to take place on Friday, February 5, 2016 at Middle Tennessee Veteran’s Cemetery, 7931 Mc Crory Ln, Nashville, TN 37221, at ten o’clock in the morning. Grandchildren will serve as pallbearers. Memorial donations may be made to Disaster Relief or Inner City Ministries.
